Ocean View - At the Dec. 17 Township Committee meeting, the latest initiative/ proposed ordinance to create an 11 member citizen Recreation Department advisory council was withdrawn. This is the latest partisan political effort by three Republican Committeemen to fix a wheel that isn't broken; and, as an aftermath to Deputy Mayor Teefy's t-shirt contract ethics investigation, to focus political cover regarding taxpayer financial accountability. These "three amigos" similarly tampered with and restructured the long standing Environmental Commission back in 2012. Now there are just "two amigos" in 2014.
