Stone Harbor - We disagree with the spouters who are emotionally against building a new police facility. A professional, efficient police force like the one we have is a big asset to a community. We are safe, secure, protected and enjoy excellent values because of the environment our professional police protect each and every day. Our police need and deserve adequate and up-to-date space and equipment in a facility that is efficient. The current police facility is over 20-years-old, undersized, with outdated technology. The proposed police building is needed now.
