Cape May County - Re: the Herald's Property Transfer Records, it should be publishing the assessed value so readers can see for themselves just how unfair and unjust the tax assessments are in Cape May County. We would see a property in Avalon that was sold for $1,790,000 more than the assessed value or a property in Middle Township that sold for $50,000, $182,700 less than the assessed value. Do the extra work, and publish both the sales price and assessed value.
