North Cape May - Many local business owners complain constantly about being unable to find reliable workers, a sentiment that was mentioned in a recent Herald article about seasonal, foreign student workers. Many local residents are retired from professional careers, have free time, have a great work ethic, could be great ambassadors for our town, and wouldn't stare at their phones during working hours. The only thing holding them back from applying for jobs is the insultingly low pay. They get what they pay for, or to put it another way, they could get more if they paid more.
