Diamond Beach - Thanks to those who recently spoke out against the legalization of recreational marijuana at a recent Chamber of Commerce meeting. If this gateway drug is legalized in N.J., it will invite non users to try it, escalate drug-intoxicated traffic accidents and deaths, thefts, violence, petty crimes and ultimately hardcore drug use in the state, while raising tax revenues only marginally. Gov. Phil Murphy might have some good ideas for New Jersey, but this certainly isn't one of them. Please speak out against this issue, or we'll become the victims of any legalization.
