Avalon - Avalon, like most shore towns, requires motorists park their car on the street in the same way as traffic. This is an important, safety issue, yet Avalon does not enforce it. It is especially problematic around construction sites where workers park as close as possible to the job, even if their vehicle is facing the wrong way. Will it take a tragedy to get the police to ticket violators? I hope not, for the sake of our children.
