Since 1920, official commissioners' meetings have always been on Friday evenings so all residents, part-time and full-time, can attend. Now, the commissioners approved a $1.8 million lawsuit settlement at a special meeting on a Tuesday morning. They have scheduled a Wednesday meeting to approve a multimillion-dollar budget, not on a Friday. What are they afraid of, what are they hiding from the public?
