Lower Township - School superintendents, I would first like to say that our children’s safety is the first and foremost important thing to all of us. Having said that, the way you cancel school for potential weather conditions, at the drop of a hat, is disturbing. We live in the Northeast and snow is a fact of life. Buses can run with 1-3 inches of snow. Imagine if the states living above New Jersey canceled school the way we do. They wouldn’t attend for several straight months. Do you understand the ramifications of parents who don’t get paid when they take off work? Please find a fix to this.
