Why has the tree at the Venice Ave. park not been replaced yet?

West Wildwood - Why has the tree at the Venice Ave. park not been replaced yet? An impaired driver ran it down with his car almost two years ago, and it saved him from destroying the garden wall and flagpole in the park, and maybe his life too. This is the second spring and it will be the second summer that the tree will be missing. The borough gives the police chief a pay raise from $63,000 to $101,000 and the mayor and commissioners take a 150 percent raise. My taxes to pay for their crazy spending has gone up but they can't replace a $50 tree destroyed almost two years ago. What gives?
