It's about time Cape May County develops a centralized dispatch

West Wildwood - It's about time Cape May County develops a centralized dispatch system for police, fire, and EMS. This way the public will have access to information they deserve regarding how many service calls each department actually participates in. No falsifying statistics. They all will then have oversight and accountability. Answerable to the citizens who pay them. The 'wait and see' attitude is just a ridiculous excuse to keep things as they are. It should be mandatory to join the centralized system. Fire and EMS should be separate. No blurring of lines concerning legal parameters.
