Avalon - People think it is odd that with state and Avalon standards in place for barriers being up when a swimming pool is under construction, that Avalon does not enforce the law! This nonenforcement of this important law is all over this town. A child, pet, senior, or average person could be maimed, or killed from falling into a 5-foot-deep concrete pit. Easy to see why this law exists. Easy to see what would happen if an accident happened. Easy to enforce this law. Hard to figure why it is not enforced. Sloppy. The insurance company that insures Avalon and the pool companies may not know this.
