Overpaid police?

Wildwood Crest - Overpaid police? Grandmom is having a heart attack, little brother fell in the swimming pool, I just crashed my car, someone is in my yard, someone broke into my house and stole my jewelry, I didn't listen when they said evacuate from the storm ... who is getting called? The police. Those are only a few examples of how they "do nothing and get paid too much." They aren't supposed to feel, put hands on anyone, or God forbid protect someone or themselves by shooting someone. Give me a break, have a volunteer police force and see how that works out.
