The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines "woke" as "actively aware of and fighting against discrimination , inequality, and marginalization." Guess who perfectly fits that definition? Jesus. Jesus was the epitome of those values, of "wokeness." So when right-wingers disparage others as being woke, they are accusing them of emulating Christ and following Christ's examples. Who is in the "right" here? Not right-wingers.
