Guards loved working for Tony. Under his leadership, the patrol was more than a job — it was a close-knit family. He genuinely cared about the patrol, his guards, & the beach. Above all, the safety of beachgoers and the well-being of his guards were always his top priorities. Sadly, things seem to have changed. Today, many guards stay for only a few seasons, and experienced veterans are leaving due to an unhealthy work environment. When dedicated, experienced guards no longer want to stay, it should be cause for serious concern. The beach patrons have witnessed this unfortunate change.
