We grew up in Cape May. Went to school at Star of the Sea, then on to Lower Cape Regional. Wonderful times growing up here and living here full time for 65 years. Change is inevitable but the changes over the years haven't been that great. Yes, we need summer dollars. Always have and always will but what our town did not need was the attitude that comes with the McMansion crowd. Rudeness is at an all-time high here. We locals noticed it this summer more than ever before. Thank goodness we have the off-season, yes, our season to get our town back for a few months. Locals know what I mean.
