The OSCE is an international body that aims to preserve democracy and human rights across the globe. Its goal in observing elections is to "assess the extent to which fundamental freedoms are respected in the campaign and if the elections are characterized by equality, universality, political pluralism, confidence, transparency and accountability. They have been observing Federal US elections since 2002. This year, they were not invited. It’s odd that Trump wants 'secure' elections, yet has rejected independent scrutiny and offers no explanation. Perhaps security was never the point.
