I waited 70 years to visit Europe. My children treated me to the trip. Italy, Austria, Germany and France. I didn't plan on being embarrassed but I can tell you folks in Europe don't don't have a good opinion of America. They were very friendly but brutally honest. Most think America has become a laughing stock, the punchline in a joke. We are not respected or admired like we were at one time.
