The anti-gun freaks are off to the races here in the comments and on spout off. Let's see, we hear this! "Why does anyone need an AR-15?" And, "it's OK for people to have hunting rifles but NOT "ASSAULT RIFLES". Ok , tell me/us what is an "assault rifle"? Let's go back in time. The Bolt"Hunting rifle" was derived from the WAR German Mauser. Fact! During WWII, there was the M1 Garand, "Semi auto" rifle. MANY Hunters used them to hunt. The Russian SKS, semi-auto rifle. GREAT Dear hunting rifle. All guns were derived from war guns. The AR-15 is just another. Give it up already!
