I’m so tired of the fear-mongering. Tuberville says teachers are giving kids gender transitioning drugs? What? NO! A complete lie. I was a teacher in a neighboring state for 35 years, retired the last 2 years. I couldn’t hand a child an aspirin or a Tylenol or even let them borrow sunscreen without parental permission, full documentation and a Dr’s note. And even then only the 2 people in the school certified by the state could actually hand it to them. Teachers have enough on their plates without politicians using them as imaginary boogeyman and creating a fake culture war. Do better.
