Cape May Court House

I stumbled across this at a local council meeting concerning the city drainage system, to my understanding all of the barrier island towns along the coast have access to grant money to have the old drainage systems replaced with the NEW type with a one way baffle, Which allows the rain water to drain, and stopping the sea water coming up into that same drain not allowing ocean/bay water back up onto the roads flooding the streets when the sea level rises. The push back the city’s do not want this type of construction during tourism times, which does not give ample time to be completed, money!
