Trump is defying Congress and robbing the American people to build his "ballroom". This is a HUGE separation-of-powers problem that, if left unresolved, makes one of Congress’s major functions meaningless. No one knows how this is being paid for, because there is NO oversight as there should be. Trump's exact words were that it would be “taxpayer free,” that “We have no taxpayer putting up 10 cents.” A bald-faced lie, but the fake served its purpose: It bought him time to break ground. And Congress has already said no to taxpayer funding which should have been a stop order on the project.
