Re: My reply to one of the usual "negative" suspects on this forum stating that the proposed 21 home development at Poverty Beach has nothing to do with beach erosion and flooding. WRONG! What Cape May doesn't need is more housing anywhere. Permeable ground in Cape May is nearly gone after a good rain, roads and yards flood like never before. The excessive floodwaters end up on the beach via the outfall pipes. The beach suffers, the town suffers and so do we that have lived here all of our lives. "Greed" has gotten the best of Cape May. Sad, so very sad.
