Mr. Mayor, perhaps it's time you reread the constitution and our first amendment rights. The way you spoke to the woman at today’s council meeting regarding her right to assemble was a disgrace. Instead of simply thanking and apologizing that her peers were attacked during their gathering, you attempted to shame her by boasting that her event had no such protests. Perhaps it's time for a civics class. Do better, Mr. Mayor.
