I'm a senior white woman from NYC that suffers with swollen ankles from gout. A couple years ago I purchased Converse High Tops and found them to be a great help...love them..great ankle support... that's because I remembered that in the 70's most of the best basketball players wore them. I recently saw an ad for Converse athletic shoes that was so deeply disturbing it affected me to the core!!! Please my fellow spouters, research this ad and tell me how to properly dispose of "THE DEVIL $100 HIGH TOPS"...no matter how much they help my feet.
