The Penn Wharton budget Model estimated that the current tariff polices would raise around 2.1 trillion over a 10 year period, not in a single year. I think Trump didn’t see the dot between the 2 and the 1 when he said it was 21 trillion, also he forgot to mention the 10 years it would take to raise that.
