To follow up on a comment to another spout: county employees, are you ever happy? Do you ever offer congrats to anyone because they are hardworking and have earned a raise? You should try keeping your heads down, doing your job to the best of your ability, and not complaining about everything and everyone. From my experience, county jobs are considerably better than private sector jobs. You dont work as hard, you dont have a lot of pressure, and with holidays and pto, you have over 40 days off a year. If you want to complain about something, ask your union why you dont have your raise yet.
