Cape May County F&S needs to answer serious questions about job classifications and safety. Broad Maintenance/Laborer titles appear to be used to give employees flexibility to perform work outside their actual trade classifications, while employees may be assigned high-risk work without the proper training or certifications. This creates serious safety and liability concerns. Employees deserve proper titles, equal treatment, and safe working conditions. Taxpayers deserve transparency.
