Well we all saw this one coming - a man in a low speed vehicle golf cart swerved to miss a free ranging chicken on Avenue S and almost hit a utility pole. He went up on the grass and curb and missed it by inches. I've called and left repeated voice mails for Mr Karl at Borough Hall and asked him to have the guy with the chickens keep them in his back yard. No return call from Mr. Karl and the chickens are still causing havoc. Do we have a Borough inspector and if so, can Mr. Karl please ask him or her to address the 500 pound gorilla in the room, or more appropriately, the 6 pound chickens before we have someone seriously hurt.
