I was working for a top financial services firm and our business continuity team gathered for our morning coffee discussion at the campus in Hopewell, NJ when the boss got a call from his sister in the World Financial Center who said an airplane just crashed into the World Trade Center. We immediately opened the corporate command center and emergency conference call to provide the primary point of contact for the Corporate Response Team and Senior Management. It was crazy busy since we had 6 buildings directly affected in Manhattan and Jersey City. I was able to go home to rest about 32 hours later.
