I was actually working for a North Jersey ad agency at the time, but working from home in Court House that day. As I passed thru my living room and looked at t.v., I thought the morning news show was re-showing the fire from years ago. It took me a while to realize it was current. 2 co-workers were to be in NYC that day, but circumstances kept them in the office. My husband was at work down the road, but the 1st call I made was to my mother. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I felt so bad for those trapped, and for the responders doing their job. I am lucky in the fact that I did not lose any friends or family. I still feel bad for all lives lost that day, to this day. And, it was nice that for awhile we had unity as a nation.
