No doubt that Mother Nature has it's inherent dangers, however the scarp at the Cove beach is as severe as it has ever been. What's interesting is that the rock jetty is showing itself again. So the DEP and ACE does millions of dollars of sand replenishment on a annual basis but the won't consider placing large rocks to extend the existing jetty system ? Injuries are piling up, but that's simply a pink elephant in the room that affects residents and visitors for a life time.
