The County Open Spaces should partner with the Green Acres program like other counties do in order to preserve more open space quickly. There isn't a single dry piece of land that isn't targeted by developers. Every year more open spaces and woods disappear. The County Open Spaces should initiate contact with anyone that owns land to see if they want to preserve it. In ten years or less, there will be nothing left to develop at the rate development is destroying land in CMC. We need the Open Spaces program to really up it's game when it comes to preserving open spaces.
