I was talking to a nice woman in a local tavern Saturday, of course weather came up and how hot it's been lately. She made this comment and I almost fell off my chair; "All the wild fires that PEOPLE have lit is causing our climate change and adding to the heat"! I said excuse me, but how did wild fires starts 300 years ago and who put them out? She looked at me with the straightest face and said, "What wild fires"? I said, the ones LIGHTNING starts. She said, "That's Mother nature, rain fixes that". It's a shame, she was pretty but obviously had a different point of view and I said goodbye rather fast...
