Cape May County has changed over the decades but not for the better. Tourism was the County's downfall. Tourists started moving here and all of our woods, farms, and fields started being relentlessly destroyed by housing developments. So many people have moved here that it became what they were trying to escape. The County is getting ugly. Cape May County residents would be way better off if not a single new home was built anywhere. Don't turn CMC into a mini Philly! No one "needs" to live here any more than someone "needs" to live in Hawaii. Tourism is what funded the destruction of CMC
