I saw on FB that someone was hit by a jitney. A few years ago, I attended a council meeting and shared my concerns about speeding on Landis especially the jitneys. The police chief’s response was, “they have to make their money,” followed by a wink. It took some time but eventually someone got hit. I wonder how much money the driver made that night.
