A Spouter from Lower Township said that Germany and other European countries are not Social Democracies; he was flat out wrong. Regardless of any formal name, a Social Democracy is one that has a representative/participatory government which aims to reduce poverty and inequality, assist families, sponsor affordable healthcare, etc. in short, the aims of the current Democratic party in the US. This is all easy to look up, but like most minimally educated Right Wingers, that spouter failed to take the 20 seconds and 'effort'.
