This month, a driver in Oregon saw police lights and pulled over. They “complied”. Three men, one with a rifle, claimed to be ICE. They detained and assaulted the driver and passenger. They were eventually released and drove to a hospital and were admitted. The assailants were NOT ICE. But how would anyone know the difference? ICE wears masks, hides badges, and drives unmarked cars. I find this terrifying. This is a real problem we have created.
