It is a great idea to build affordable veterans housing at county commons. The site is already zoned town / business, has parking, shopping and access to public transportation and other services. Our county also needs inexpensive housing for the working class and low income. It is time for tiny homes on small lots. Auxillary housing units on developed lots. Mother in law apartments. Zoning boards must encourage this by changing laws, rules and regulations. Stop punishing investors and landlords who can accomplish housing for the masses. Citizens must inform zoning to fix our housing crisis.
