The Green Acres program and/or the Nature Conservancy would likely be willing to buy & preserve the 200+ acres of land the township is trying to destroy with the Ryan Homes development. Preserving that land will help prevent tax increases that inevitably would follow if 340 more homes were built there. It's stunning that Leusner actually think more 'ratables" will lower our taxes. If Green Acres & TNC can give them a good offer, we can save that land from becoming another ugly housing development.
