AFSCME has the potential to be a good union, but it’s unfortunate that the so called board members negotiating are lacking the governmental education required to negotiate in good faith. There are statues, laws, regulations and policies that need to be followed. You can’t just go in with demands and entitlements without knowing the limitations. This fantasy of doing what you want and pretend authority is impacting the employees. You are not in charge, you don’t oversee all departments. You are creating division across multiple platforms. Take off the blindfold, there is a bigger picture
