At last night's Council meeting they swore in 4 new captains and a new fulltime fireman. What's up with all the promotions and addition to force. Honestly, when I go by the firehouse there's so many firemen just standing around. So, we end up with a bloated fire department and then buy a new fire truck to top it off! Really, how many fires are we putting out? Plus, please explain to me the physical standards that are qualifications to be a fireman.
