West Wildwood

We are all familar with the Batrle of Turtle Gut in what is now the Sunset Lake area, many are unaware the Colonial ships had first stopped here at what we call Patriotos Point for resupply before the battle. Gun powder, flour, eggs and glazed donuts were some of the supplies that helped win the fight thay fateful day with yet again our tiny island playing a pivital point in a local historical event. Thank-you to the Ladies Auxiliary for hosting thos weeks remembrance
