A recent Spout praised our country and stated that our challenge is all of the foreign groups coming into the country and refusing to assimilate. Several repliers wrote that these people are no different from the Irish and Italian immigrants. How ignorant can you be? The Immigrants in the early 1990’s wanted to become Americans. They wanted to help build the country. The learned, adopted and respected our culture and history . These new immigrants ,some legal most not, don’t care about our culture or history. In fact, they want to tear it down. There is a difference!
