When a County Department Head appears to spend more time acting as a keyboard warrior on anonymous social media than managing their department, taxpayers have every right to ask questions. You are paid to lead employees, solve problems, improve services, and be accountable to the public not to engage in constant online commentary during the workday. If someone has enough time to continuously post & comment, perhaps it’s worth asking: Is the department being managed effectively? Are employees receiving the leadership they deserve? Are taxpayers getting the value they expect?
