Some Bernie Democrats beat some more moderate Democrats in the New York primaries last Tuesday. That's half the story. The other half is that these Bernie Democrats will almost certainly be elected in November and they (along with Mejia) should be very effective voices on many issues. Me? I believe they will be much more effective than the current progressive representatives in the House
