As taxpayers, we should take a close look at the administrative structure across our three island schools. How many administrators does each school have, and how does that compare to enrollment? With tight budgets and increasing financial pressures, it’s reasonable to ask whether every administrative position is necessary. For example, does CMS need three administrators? Are similar staffing levels justified at WW and NW? If administrative costs can be reduced without impacting student safety or educational quality, those savings could be redirected to classrooms, teachers, and/or programs.
