A Spouter questions the validity of the statistic of 40,000 gun deaths in the U.S. in 9 months of 2025. The Spouter is correct. The correct number is 38,368 - BUT that is the number of gun violence incidents in that time period, not the number of deaths. In all of 2025 13,926 people died because of gun violence, an average of 1160 every month. The fact remains that Trump bemoans 11,888 murders - over a 40-year period - by "people who entered the country." Is he concerned about those 13,926 people? Apparently not. He has nothing to say about them.
