Tax the rich? Looks great on a bumper sticker, not so good in real life. Many businesses you see are owned by the wealthy, you may work for them. They provide jobs to many and will hand that enterprise to family at retirement. If taxes go up, profits go down, sometimes it isn’t worth it to continue. As a side effect the value of the business is lowered, do you wants to buy a business that’s unprofitable?
