Some things deserve an immediate response. Donald Trump’s statements are completely made up. Frankly, I am astonished. I don’t know why the President of the United States behaves this way toward his own allies. Moreover, this is not the first time it has happened. I can only say that it is disappointing that he does not show the same determination toward the enemies of the West, toward the enemies of the United States—leaders with whom he instead appears to be much more accommodating. But there is one thing he should remember: neither I nor Italy ever beg. MAGA
