On June 10th Trump stated that the U.S. "had 11,888 people enter the country who murdered." Note that "murdered" includes more than gun violence. And according to the Department of Home Security the 11,888 figure includes those who entered the country over the past 40 years. Meanwhile, the Center for Disease Control estimates that 40,000 people died of gun-related injuries in just January of 2025 to September of 2025, What does Trump have to say about the epidemic of gun violence in the U.S. that claims tens of thousands of lives each year? Absolutely NOTHING.
